Why, Thank You!
Fancy that. The waiter said, “we really appreciate your business.” Great words, aren’t they. They make you feel connected and appreciated, two very basic human needs. They’re easy to say too! So why is it that we don’t hear these words more often? I get it that the words are meaningless if they’re not backed up with action and if the service delivery is poor. But assuming all things go well, they are words that are swell to hear and should feel great to say too. You can go one step further. Send a hand written note to clients, prospects and business contacts to further show your appreciation. I know email is more efficient but just as long as the Post Office is running, take that extra step to stand apart. I appreciate you. I value you. Thank you for your business. Who can you thank today?
