Let's Make a Deal to Banish Canned Content, Okay?
The sea of perceived sameness that is the global business world results in our competition being found across the globe just as easily as across the street and begs the need for all of us to be unique.
Now, excuse me if this sounds harsh but how can you be unique if you send out canned content that is also being used by your competitors?
I hope you’re saying, “it’s not possible.”
Yesterday I received three newsletters filled with the exact same words. There was a tiny amount of customization but all in all, it was the same.
It doesn’t have to be that way.
If you don’t have the time to write your content, don’t have the interest to write your content or to be totally honest, don’t have the skills to write your content, don’t do it.
There are options.
Hire an outside content developer.
Share content but be certain to include your personal insightful comments. Make sure you have permission to share.
Hire an in-house writer.
Do any of the above, really, but make certain your content is as unique as you are and reflects your brand, personality and individuality.
