Get out of your own way. Don't procrastinate, get started. Something is always better than nothing and waiting for perfection means that you will linger in the land of the unfulfilled.

Know what your prospects and clients WANT and not necessarily need. Want is always the key driver. If you have a great product or service and nobody wants it, you'll soon be out of business.

Outsource all of the endeavors that you don't have the time to execute, don't have the requisite skills to execute, or would prefer to spend your time doing other mission-critical things.

Don't BS yourself. (This is a biggie!) Honesty is always the best policy and being honest with yourself about your business will help clear the way to business success.

What makes you different in the marketplace and what IMPROVEMENTS can you bring to your clients? If the answer is "none" it's going to be difficult to get them to work with you.
